What Problem Does Your Business Solve?

Businesses are problem solvers. I have a problem when I run out of petrol, so I go to the petrol station. I have a problem when I need to do my tax return, so I go to my accountant.

Unfortunately many businesses, don’t think of themselves as problem solvers and it shows in their marketing messages. If your marketing messages don’t tell the customer how you solve their problems your marketing isn’t effective.

Have a read of your marketing material and the copy on your website. Can your target market tell what problem you solve?

A great way to sum up what many businesses struggle in understanding.

We have evaluated websites and collateral which simply doesn’t point a direction.

    Always an outside opinion helps.

Thanks for your comment Ali, it’s amazing how many businesses can’t answer this simple question. When they do, it provides a much clearer direction.

This is really good Chris. I realise now I’ve been told this little piece of wisdom over and over again but I’m not sure I was hearing it correctly. I really like the way you say a lot with a little and say it clearly.

Thanks for your comment and feedback Paul, really appreciate it. I think it’s sometimes easier to keep it simple rather than over complicate it. Thanks again.
